Planned Parenthood License Plate Update
Tying up a loose end: Lost in the excitement of yesterday’s big victory for life was that both chambers overwhelmingly agreed with Governor Bob McDonnell’s amendment on the Planned Parenthood license plate bill that prohibits any proceeds from its sale to be used for abortion services. The legislation was part of a large, omnibus specialty license plate bill including plates for many causes and institutions. The Senate concurred by a vote of 38-0; the House by a vote of 78-7.
