Bible Reading At State Capitol

Shhhh . . . don’t tell Kent Willis over at the ACLU, but some mixing of church and state is going on right before our very eyes!

Leading up to the National Day of Prayer this Thursday, our friends at Beaverdam Baptist Church, located just outside Richmond, are sponsoring an around the clock Bible reading outside the General Assembly Building, located next door to the state Capitol. Individuals will be reading until Thursday morning at 10:00.

If you are interested in volunteering time to read, and don’t mind annoying the ACLU in doing so, contact the Beaverdam Baptist Church office at 804-449-0055.
