Dr. Alveda King, niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and pastoral associate for Priests for Life, and Dr. Johnny Hunter, president of LEARN, Inc., are the featured speakers during three days of pro-life activities in Hampton Roads starting tomorrow. The events are sponsored by Hampton Roads for Life (click here for more information).
Dr. King will be the featured speaker during screenings of Maafa 21, a documentary that chronicles the racist targeting of abortion toward blacks by Planned Parenthood, Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at the Church of the Messiah, 816 Kempsville Road in Chesapeake; and Friday, also at 6:00, at the Basilica of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception, 232 Chapel Street in Norfolk. Dr. Hunter will participate in a panel discussion following Maafa 21 on Friday as well as conduct a prayer vigil at the construction site of the Planned Parenthood abortion center in Virginia Beach on Saturday.
This is a great opportunity to learn about the real intentions of Planned Parenthood from two respected national pr0-life leaders. For additional information, contact Louantha Kerr at 757-966-7950 or Frances Bouton at 757-650-9224.
