Obama, Liberals View Americans As “Enemies,” GOP Told To Sit In The Back
How many times can a president decry his own nation? We know Barack Obama doesn’t think much of certain “bitter clingers.” He also hammers away at people and institutions that create jobs as “selfish.” His administration is more concerned with white Christian veterans from Western states than documented law breakers. We could launch a blog only on the insults he heaps upon his fellow Americans. But yesterday he went a step further and called for the “punishment” (at the polls) of conservatives whom he called “enemies.” So much for the “post-partisan” presidency, the uniting “annointed one.” In the Age of Obama, if you have a different idea you are branded.
I’m not your ruler, daggonit, so go out and punish our enemies!
You have to feel sorry for him, though. He clearly laments the fact that he is not our king, although he governs as a ruler and not a democrat. But let’s give the president some charity. After all, he said his opponents could join him in a car ride . . . only, they must “sit in the back seat” (see Stop The ACLU).
The great conciliator: “Enemies” need to take a seat “in the back.” So much for uniting the country.
Yes, we better kick these socialists out of office before they hinder our prosperity even more and we become like those European nations!!
NORWAY AT TOP OF PROSPERITY INDEX
October 26, 2010|By the CNN Wire Staff
Norway leads the 2010 list ranking the prosperity of 110 of the world’s nations by the London analytical center Legatum Institute.
Norway also topped the 2009 rankings.
“The Prosperity Index seeks to understand how economic fundamentals, health, freedom, governance, safety, education, entrepreneurial opportunity, and social capital influence a country’s economic growth and the happiness of its citizens,” the group says.
Europe dominates the Top 10, taking six of the spots. The United States and Canada represent North America, while Australia and New Zealand check in from the Pacific-Asia nations.
The Legatum Prosperity Index is the world’s only global assessment of wealth and wellbeing. Now in its fourth year, the Index analyses 110 nations covering more than 90% of the world’s population. It starts with a holistic definition of prosperity that includes both material wealth and quality of life, and then employs a rigorous set of estimation methods to determine which factors matter most to nations’ overall prosperity.
Most people would intuitively agree that “prosperity” is not just money but also quality of life. The Prosperity Index is the first global index that provides an empirical basis for this belief. It finds that successful countries enjoy a “virtuous cycle” of economic liberty and growth, political freedom and good governance, and enterprising and happy citizens, which mutually reinforce each other on the path to prosperity.
Rather than replicating other measurements that rank countries by their actual levels of wealth, life satisfaction, or development, the Prosperity Index produces rankings based on the foundations of prosperity. These are the factors that help drive economic growth or produce happy citizens in a given country. The Index provides a framework for assessing global prosperity that we hope will be of use to policymakers, scholars, businesses, and the globally curious for years to come.
Eight of the Bottom 10 nations are from Africa, with Zimbabwe coming in last.
The Top 10:
1. Norway
2. Denmark
3. Finland
4. Australia
5. New Zealand
6. Sweden
7. Canada
8. Switzerland
9. Netherlands
10. United States
Please explain what Norway has anything to do with Obama’s arrogance and mean spirited comments and class and ethmic baiting? But to answer your question, yes, we have fallen — because we are going the socialist route and we don’t do it as well as the pros, that’s why this survey no one has ever heard of rates them higher. But answer me another question: How many Americans are leaving for Norway or anywhere else?
The survey that no one has heard of? You mean the “Liberal Mainstream Media” isn’t spreading and perpetuating this socialist produced propaganda? And speaking of getting off subject, how does the FF think this (and many of their blog entries) that are filled with politically slanted dogma have anything to do with their mission of “building strong family values?” For those who claim they’re for small, less intrusive government the FF sure seems obsessed with the power that government can leverage on our society as a means to their end. I think they call that hypocrisy. Anyway, your response it just what I’d expect. Get back to me when you shed your thought-inhibiting, nataionalistic blinders.
MS, you are a joke. You are off topic. You always do this. Why do you even come on this site if you aren’t going to discuss the topic of the post? You’re Norway comment has NOTHING TO Do with the post about Obama’s crude comments. I don’t speak for TFF, but it seems to me, it is free to comment on anything it wants. They are more informed than the idiot Hollywood celebs the Social Dems bring up to testify on Congressional bills. They have categories on this blog for politics. The banner reads “Truth and Reason in Va. Politics.”
Typical of you, you can’t win an argument so you resort to name calling. I’m thought inhibiting? I’m smarter than you by the pure fact that I understand the constitution. I understand the govt. is limited in its powers and if you want to change that, you have to change the constitution. I understand that you will reply about every federal program under the sun. Just b/c it’s been done before, doesn’t mean it’s right. Again, you make no sense — social conservatives are supposed to sit back and not be involved in their country’s govt.? We are involved not b/c we are obsessed with govt but b/c govt is obsessed with power. We’re to sit back and con’t to let it grow just b/c we are against big govt.? You are incomprensible.
Why don’t you get back to me when you can make sense. Begin by explaining what you’re little survey has to do with the Obama’s crude comments. But I can understand your angst. You’ve waited all your life for a lefty like Obama (and Reid and Pelosi) and instead of utopia, they’ve brought your movement to the precipice of anhiliation.
Oh, yeah, by your logic, conservatives would never run for office b/c they don’t believe in govt., ceding it to the control of big govt deal-making Repubs or out-and-out statists. Only to you could that make sense.
